Sarah, please extend my sincerest thanks to your husband for his military service. I’m the daughter of two veterans, so I am always beyond appreciative of all the dedication families and service members give in service of their countries. While Walt Disney World Resort offers specially priced discounts for eligible U.S. service members, these discounts are not extended to international service members and their families. While I was researching your questions, I learned from one of my fellow panelists, Nimmy, that there may be a discount for UK military members that you could use instead. If your husband has a
Blue Light Card or Deference Discount Service membership, your husband can receive a discount on vacation bookings. I wasn’t able to confirm the specifics of that discount, as it is subject to change, but I learned it can be extended to bookings made through Walt Disney Travel Company International for Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line. To get this discount, you will email your 8-digit booking reference to disneytraveluk@disneyonline.com along with your Blue Light Card or Deference Discount Service membership code and the date and time of your booking. With that information, Cast Members will be able to add on your discount!
