Family of 5 planning visit 9/2020. Debating between Polynesian or AOA family suite. We know not to count on free dining being offered, but historically, has it been offered for both resorts, or one more likely than the other?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy!

I love using the Disney Dining Plan when I'm on vacation, and with the recent announcement that guests who book qualifying vacation packages this September, November, or December are eligible for a free Dining Plan, I totally understand wanting to get all the information you can while you're planning your family's upcoming vacation. While you're right that we can't ever count on these promotions happening again or at the same time next year, we can look at what Resort Hotels qualify for the offer this year, which might help you make the decision about where you'd like to stay.

In the fall of 2019, both Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are eligible for the free dining offer. Guests staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort will receive the Disney Dining Plan, which includes credits for one Table-Service meal, one Quick-Service meal, and two Snacks per day, while guests staying in the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort will receive the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan which includes two Quick-Service meal credits per day as well as two Snack credits. I think both Resort Hotels will be a wonderful place for your family to stay, so it all depends on what you're planning on doing and how much you like to eat! Of course, the same special offers, deals, and discounts are not guaranteed to be offered every year, so I recommend checking back in the months leading up to your vacation to see if anything pops up that might work for you.

    Have a magical day, Amy!
