    My family is planning our vacation to WDW for Dec 2011.. I have been hearing things about the taping of the Christmas Parade. When is this & do we need a special ticket to be in the park that day? Do you suggest we stay out of MK that day? Thnx!!

    Hello, Brandon!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

    The filming date for the Walt Disney World Christmas Parade for 2011 has not been released.  We probably will not see that date released for some time.  However, you will not need a "special" ticket to enter into the Magic Kingdom. Most people do like to visit the other parks during the day of filming due to the fact that the crowds can get heavy due to the parade.   I would recommend visiting any of the other three parks for that day.  If you will be purchasing the Hopper Pass, you can then make your way back to the Magic Kingdom in the evening.
