My family is planning a vacation to Walt Disney World for next summer. We are trying to decide whether to get the Disney Dining Plan. For a 4-night stay, would it be possible to have 2 nights on the Standard plan and 2 nights on the Quick Service plan?

    Hi Aimee,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your question.  I am so happy to hear that you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, you are going to make wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to enjoy some of the fantastic dining options available at Walt Disney World Resort.  Personally, we prefer to visit using the Disney Dining Plan, it is convenient and I like knowing that most of my meals are already paid for.  Unfortunately, guests must choose only one of the Dining Plans to use per reservation.  The only way you could split your stay between the Disney Dining Plan and the Quick-Service Dining Plan would be to book two separate Resort Hotel stays and check out between the two reservations.  This seems like more work, but a great number of guests choose to do split stays, be it to experience two different Resort Hotels, or to switch between Dining Plan options.  You would not have to switch resort hotels unless you choose to do so, but you may be required to switch Resort Hotel Rooms.  I would recommend speaking to a Cast Member before checking in and explaining the situation, they may be able to keep you and your family in the same room.

I hope you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort next year, Aimee.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
