My family is planning a vacation to DW for either May 29-June 5 (which would include Memorial Day) or June 5-12. I was just wondering in the panel's expert opinion which would be better crowd-wise. I know it will be busy either way, but is one better?

Hi, Brandy!  When trying to decide on a particular week to vacation at Walt Disney World, it's always best to avoid an American holiday..especially Memorial Day which traditionally initiates the summer.  Both weeks you are considering will most likely be crowded and quite warm.  However, I'll have to give my nod to the June 5-12 dates since it doesn't include the holiday.

Remember to pack your swimsuit and plan on some resort time to take a plunge in the pool during the hottest parts of the day, and then, take advantage of late Extra Magic Hours once the sun goes down. If you're a night owl, this is definitely the way to see and do a lot in a short amount of time. Plus, plan to do some non-park activities such as renting a Sea Raycer on Seven Seas Lagoon or shopping at Downtown Disney.

Come back if you have more questions as you make further plans for your summer get-away! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
