Hello! Our family is planning a vacation to Disney World next February. Our kids will be 7 and 9 and I was wondering which water park do you recommend and is it typically warm enough to even swim then? Thanks!

Hi there Jennifer! It sounds like you're planning to make a splash this February!

I've been able to enjoy the water parks and swimming in the resort pools on prior winter trips to Mickey Mouse and Pals however, there will likely be some colder days interspersed with lower 80 degree temps. As a result, I'd recommend that you wait until you arrive for your vacation, monitor the weather and then, purchase your water park ticket on the day you plan to visit.

While both water parks are tons of fun, my 10 year old daughter absolutely LOVES Disney's Blizzard Beach and in particular, the Ski Patrol Training Camp! Multiple attempts at walking across the floating iceberg course was her favorite attraction of the day on our last visit. And there are plenty of exciting activities for the entire family to enjoy together like Teamboat Springs. Also, there's just something extra "cool" about experiencing the snowy scenery, the background holiday music and the frosty ski chair lift while running about in a bathing suit!

Thanks for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Sending much pixie-dust your way for sunshine and warm weather during your trip!
