Hi my family and I are planning a trip to WDW in Nov of 2014 I was curious to know when the christmas celebrations start? Also what is the best resort to take a 4 year old 2 year old and 6 month old. Thanks

Hi Heather, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!

November is a great time to visit Walt Disney World and enjoy holidays celebrations.

The last night of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party usually shows during the first days of November.
In a span of 7 days starts Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, allowing guests to visit both events during the same visit.

At this same time Disney starts decorating all resorts and parks.  By Thanksgiving week all resort and parks are fully decorated and almost all Christmas special events will have started.  Epcot's Candlelight Processional is the last Christmas event to start.
These dates are subject to change.

Disney's Deluxe Resorts offer great comfort and convenience, featuring character and signature restaurants and located close to 1 or 2 theme parks.
Disney's Polynesian Resort or the Contemporary Resort will allow your family fast and comfortable commutes to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and all the restaurants on the 4 resorts close to Magic Kingdom.

All Disney resorts offer free bus transportation to and from all parks and Downtown Disney.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort can also be a great hotel for your family.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
