    My family and I are planning a trip to WDW in June 2012 and would like a moderate resort with queen size beds. I know Coronado Springs will fit the bill and I read via other websites that POR is scheduled to get queen size beds, is this true?

    Hello Nicholas,

    You are correct. Coronado Springs Resort does have queen sized beds in its rooms. And recently, all of Port Orleans French Quarter was renovated to include queen sized beds as well. Port Orleans Riverside (POR) is currently updating its Resort, and from what I heard, they too will be getting the larger beds. Renovations at POR have already started so it's possible if you visit next summer you may have an updated room.
