Hi, my family and I are planning our 6th trip to WDW and are going in January 2010. We are great at planning everything but the counter service meals. Can someone recommend good places to eat at all 4 parks? Somewhere you can sit inside would be best.

Hi Cassie! Sometimes it is the counter service meal you will remember the best so of course it is important to know where to go in each park!

I will start with the Animal Kingdom and highly recommend the Flametree Barbecue as the place to stop for a great lunch.  There is no indoor dining but you can take the trail down to the water to sit under cover and watch Expedition Everest while you eat.  It is very relaxing and peaceful with the exception of the many birds who will come to greet you and hope for a handout!

Columbia Harbour House and Pinocchio Village Haus are our family favorites for the Magic Kingdom for indoor seating.  We actually like Caseys on Main Street for the good old fashioned hotdog meal but have been disappointed with the change over to whole wheat buns that fall apart immediately.  If you can try to grab a table in Pinocchio Village Haus by the window to watch the boats enter Its A Small World attraction.  My kids loved to wave at the guests!

In Hollywood Studios the ABC Commissary is the place we like to head for the quick bite to eat.  The menu there includes some standard fare but also adds some great new items like the Cuban Sandwich and Chicken Curry!

EPCOT is my least favorite park for quick service dining.  I used to love the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico but they cut their menu down so you only now have a couple of choices.  Many people love the unique offerings at Tangierine Cafe in Morocco and the Yakitori House in Japan.  For traditional burgers and fries you can always head to the Electric Umbrella in Future World or the LIberty Inn in the World Showcase.

    Enjoy your culinary journey!
