My family is planning a trip to WDW at the end of Feb 2016. This will be our first trip so we are curious about the best place two little princesses might love to stay ;) Our princesses are ages 9 and 6 years old and also hope to do a character meal too.

Hi Eric! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What an exciting time to be planning your family’s first Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

When I travel it is always on a budget!  I like to get the most bang for my buck but not take away any of the excitement.  My two favorite resorts are “value resorts.”  Even though they are considered value, in my opinion the themes are excellent, there are many food choices, and they are always clean and welcoming.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort will take you through some of the coolest decades and the fads in them. Shadow boxes line the lobby with some really unique memories from decades past, and giant flowers, a Play-Doh container, and gorgeous pool greet you as you exit towards the guest rooms. My kids love splashing in the Hippy Dippy Pool and during the day there are plenty of activities and trivia that the kids can take part in pool side.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is themed after some of my favorite movies. What I love about this resort is that they are family suites which make them incredibly spacious. Each family suite includes a bedroom with a queen sized bed, a double size sleeper sofa, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette, living room, and one double sized convertible TableBed. You can choose to stay in one of these four movie themed sections:  The Lion King, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, or Cars. The pool is massive as the largest on the Walt Disney World Resort.

Lastly, for two Princesses a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a wonderful experience followed by a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table. This fairy tale dining experience is sure to put a smile on your daughter’s faces!

I hope you have a magical first visit!
