My family is planning a trip to WDW in December. Could you tell me which week would be the least crowded? Also do you think it would be better to stay close to MK with a 4 year old, 2 year old and a 1 year old or AK where the kids could see the animals?

    Hi Anne!
I think December is one of the BEST times of the entire year to visit Walt Disney World (although there are no BAD times to visit WDW in my book). Most weeks from right after Thanksgiving until right before Christmas are equally light.
Although the weather can be a bit unpredictable (80s one day, cold and rainy the next), the fact that the parks and resorts are all decked out for the holidays and the crowds are light more than make up for any weather issues.
As for where to stay with a group that young, I would definitely suggest staying closer to the Magic Kingdom. My presumption is that is where you will be spending a great deal of your time, and returning to your hotel for a swim or a nap will make evertyhing just a bit more enjoyable. Seeing animals cannot do much for tired, cranky children who have been on a bus for 20-30 minutes. If they must see the animals, you could always schedule a half day or more at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
    I wish you a Magical vacation!! :)
