    My family is planning a trip to WDW in 2013 and we are considering the end of May. How soon after Labor Day can we arrive and still avoid the Labor Day crowds? How crowded do the parks tend to get the last week of May?

    Hi Shannon!  With any holiday at Disney comes the crowds. Labor Day is a fall holiday so I am assuming you are referring to Memorial Day which comes at the end of May. This holiday weekend will find larger numbers as many locals will come and enjoy the parks. It can also be the start of the summer school vacations across the country which will draw more families. Determining what day to arrive to avoid crowds at this time of year would be impossible since schools let out differently each year and that affects the parks. If the week before is not working for you then try not to come until the Tuesday which is the day after Memorial Day. That would be your best bet but again not a guarantee. The earlier you can come in May the better since most schools are still in session.
