My family are planning a trip to WDW in April and are staying at the Movie Resort for 4 days. Can we buy a dining option for only 2 of those days ? We would also like to have a character dining at Magic Kingdom. When should we make reservations for this ?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Barbara!

Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place for a spring vacation. You will be able to enjoy the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival during your trip! Disney dining plans are a great way to experience some fantastic dining experiences during your trip. If you purchase a dining plan, it must be for the same number of nights and the same people as are on your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation. So if you will be enjoying Disney's All-Start Music Resort for four days and three nights, then you will have three sets of dining plan meal entitlements for your three night hotel reservation.

Character dining is one of my family's favorite things to do during our trips as my kids love to meet Disney characters during our meal and we all enjoy the fantastic food. Dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. So if you are traveling this April, I suggest you make your dining reservations as soon as possible so you can be sure to get reservations for your "must-do" dining list!

Please let us know if you have any other questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
