    My family of 4 was planning for a trip but unfortunately 2 can not make it, is there a way to change or cancel our trip.

    Hey Howdy Hey Maria and welcome to planDisney!

    I am so sorry to hear that two of your family members will not be able to make it to your upcoming trip. While most things can be done online through your My Disney Experience account, considering your arrival date is in a couple of weeks, this may be a little different. Let's review some steps to get you the best outcome. 

    Once you log onto your My Disney Experience account, go to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. Look to the right of the screen and see if you still have the option to "Change Reservation". Considering you are less than 30 days, instead of that option, you most likely will see a phone number instructing you to call if you would like to make changes to your reservation. You can call the number provided or call Disney at (407) 939-1936 and a Cast Member will help you through this process. Make sure when you call, to have your confirmation number for your reservation handy as this will make the process go much quicker. 

    Make sure to review the terms and conditions of vacation packages before calling. For a quick run down, if you cancel a reservation between two and 29 days from your date of arrival,  you will be charged a $200.00 cancellation fee and refunded the rest of the amount paid with the possibility of a $25 processing fee. If you change the dates of your trip less than 30 days from your date of arrival, you will be charged a $50.00 change fee, all prices listed are subject to change. I just wanted you to be aware of some of the details and fees you might come across in this process. 

    The other thing to make sure to do if you do change or cancel your trip is to cancel your dining reservations. You need to put up a credit card to hold any reservations and if you do not show up for a reservation, that card will be charged $10 per person which are subject to change. So make sure to make these changes as well! 

    Again, sorry to hear that your trip may look a little different now than when you planned it. I hope this process works out the best it can and I hope we will be able to welcome your entire family to the Most Magical Place on Earth real soon!
