My family is planning a trip October 2017. My son will be 3. Does the AOA Resort have standard rooms in the Cars Theme? And are there any standard rooms in the Finding Nemo area adjacent to the big pool? TYI

    Hi Mary,

The Art of Animation resort is such a fabulous choice for a family vacation. It has some of the most amazing themed areas in all of Walt Disney World, and the Big Blue Pool is the largest at any Disney resort hotel.

The Cars, Finding Nemo and Lion King areas of the resort are all all-suite buildings. Each family suite has two bathrooms, a separate bedroom, a kitchenette, and a living room and dining area that convert to sleeping zones.

The only section with standard rooms -- two double beds and one bathroom -- is the Little Mermaid area. Guests who stay in any of the Art of Animation accommodations have access to all the pools and amenities the resort has to offer.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love helping guests make decisions and plans for their magical visits. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you.

    Enjoy!
