Hi there, Desiree. Welcome to
planDisney.
I love visiting
Walt Disney World over the holiday season, Desiree. Everything is dressed up in its holiday best and is so festive and fun. I think you'll be happy to know that during your vacation in late November, the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks will be decorated for Christmas. Right after Halloween, those fall decorations come down and Christmas goes up. The process is actually quite amazing. Most of the decorations at Magic Kingdom Park are put up in one night. It's like Fairy Godmother waved her wand and said, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo".
It hasn't been announced yet, however, while you are there more than likely will be some sort of holiday after-hours event or party. This is going to be where you'll find a holiday parade and other festivities. Last year we enjoyed the
Disney Very Merriest After Hours Event at Magic Kingdom Park and it was so much fun. There were fun photo opportunities, a Christmastime parade, select attractions were open, complimentary snacks and soda and so much more. You'll want to keep an eye out on the
Disney Parks Blog for a coming announcement regarding this year's holiday party. I would think that tickets will be going on sale shortly as we are approaching the summer season. The party is only on select dates but last year there were a few each week so hopefully, it will work out with your schedule. I highly recommend it.
Desiree, I think you'll have so much fun visiting Walt Disney World over the holiday season. It really is the most magical time of year at the most magical place. If you have more questions while you plan your vacation, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Enjoy!
