Hi. My family is planning a trip for next summer to celebrate my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. They would like to stay at Port Orleans French Quarter. Any idea when it will reopen?

    Heigh-Ho Natalie,

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate such a wonderful moment and during Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. And planning early warms my heart and clues me into the fact you know what you are doing.

Guest can typically book their Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation 499-days out. However, due to Covid, we are still waiting on news of when the rest of the Resorts will Welcome Guests Home. This includes Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter and Riverside. I don’t know about you but I am missing some java and beignets and sitting at Scat Cat’s Club listening to some New Orleans Jazz while sipping on a cocktail. The link I have provided has a list of updated Disney Resorts and will be a source for you to check for further information. With some Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust I hope you all will be returning to Disney’s Port Orleans- French Quarter for this amazing celebration.

In the meantime, Guests are able to book, at one of the other available Disney Resorts Collections Hotels, and when your Home Away from Home opens its doors, are able to call and switch Resorts if there is availability.  Please continue to ask me any further curiouser and curiouser inquiries you may and check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) for more Disney Magica and Vacation Tips.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.
