Hello, my family of 14 is planning a trip next fall. We’d love to do the character breakfast at the plaza in. I know we have to make reservations 60 days in advance but can I make reservations online for a party of 14?

Hello to you, Briana, and welcome to planDisney! We are thrilled to have you stop by with your big planning question!

Wow! You are taking on a big adventure of planning a trip for 14, but how magical this is going to be for your family! I took in the Disneyland app and while it is possible to select a party of 14 when looking for available reservations, all of the dates that I tried came up completely empty. I think this is due to the size as I am not sure I've ever seen a party that big in a Disneyland dining location. My suggestion would be to split your party up into two smaller parties, say 6 and 8, or however, it makes the most sense for your party. This means you would also need another family member with a Disney account to help you make reservations for that second group. Then when it comes time for your reservation, I suggest showing up a little early and approaching a Cast Member to let them know that because of your large party, you made two reservations and inquire if they would be able to seat you close together. This isn't a guarantee, but it never hurts to ask.

Since your trip is still a year out, I definitely recommend keeping tabs on the Disney Parks Blog so that you can make sure to stay up to date on all the details and happenings that will be going on in the parks while you are there.

Briana, thanks so much for stopping by! As you continue to plan, you've got a friend in us! We'd love to help you with any other planning questions you come across.
