Hello my family is planning a trip for next April. If we get the dinning plan with one counter one snack and one table do we all have to eat together. My dad wants to give my husband and I a kid free day and night but I didn't know if we had to meet back u

Hello, Kimberly!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I am thrilled to hear that you and your family are considering the Disney Dining Plan (DDP).  I am a huge fan of the DDP and it really helps when it comes to my food budget.  The plan you are considering is one of my favorites, too.  It is just enough to keep my three teenage boys happy for the entire day.  The good news is that your family does not need to be together in order to use the DDP.  When you set your reservation, you will need to give the names of every member of your family.  The DDP will be based on the number of people in your party/reservation.  All the meals and snacks will be tied into one account.  Upon check-in, every person will receive a Key to the World which will state that you have the DDP.  As long as they have their card, they will be able to utilize the DDP while in the parks.  The meals and snacks will be deducted from the account which is linked to all cards.  Now if your father is setting his own Walt Disney World reservation and planning on the DDP, he will have his own account number for his Key to the World card. Looks like you can plan on that kid free day!

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
