My family and I are planning a trip for June 2018. I am trying to figure out if I should look into renting a stroller for my 5 and 7 year old. We will be in the parks for 6 days and we are staying on property. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi, Jill!

The great thing about renting strollers at Walt Disney World is that you can simply rent "as needed" without worrying about any commitment. Perhaps on really hot days when you will be doing a lot of walking in Epcot, a stroller will be a great idea. But on maybe a half day at the Magic Kingdom, it will not be necessary. Don't worry about making any decisions, just plan as you go.

If you decide to rent a stroller (I suggest a double, if one hops in, the other will follow!) then simply stop by the stroller rental location in the front of each park. You can rent by the day, or get a small discount if you rent for multiple days. If you hop parks in the same day, show your receipt to receive another stroller for that day for no additional charge.

My kids loved having a strollers, and used them as long as they could squeeze themselves into those fun buggies! I found it really kept them from getting over tired from too much walking, and I liked having the cup holders for my water bottles! But see what works for you and your little ones once you arrive in the parks.

You June 2018 vacation will be here before you know it so have fun planning!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
