    My family is planning a trip to DL in Nov 2013. First time to DL for my DD, 9,. Would like to be there to see the Christmas lights. When in Nov are the lights turned on and is Mickey's Christmas party also in DL?

    Hi there Jennifer,

    The Holidays are such a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort.  It's even MORE magical than ever this time of year so you're in for lots of seasonal surprises!  I was lucky enough to be at The Happiest Place on Earth in early November this year, and I can remember the lights and decorations making their appearance the first week of the month.

    Disneyland does not have a hard ticket party like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but there are several special holiday events including A Christmas Fantasy Parade, Believe...In Holiday Magic Fireworks, Jingle Jangle Jamboree, Holiday Mad T Party, Holiday themed World of Color, and so much more. Plus, special holiday layovers on both "it's a small world" and "Haunted Mansion."  These special experiences are offered free for all guests throughout each day with general park admission!
