My family and I are planning a trip to Disneyland in September. We wanted to know, is it required our children who under 8 years old have to show proof of negative CoVid test before entering the Disneyland park?? My husband and I have been vaccinated.

Hello there, Amber. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

Pretty soon, you and your family will be able to return to a land of Magic. I bet you’re excited to experience all the pixie-dusted fun at the Happiest Place on Earth. While it’s strongly recommended by the State of California for all Guests to be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test result prior to entering, Disneyland Resort is currently not requiring proof (of vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test result) at this time. When you’re in common areas outdoor, masks remain optional; however, all Guests (ages 2 and up) are required to wear masks indoors, including on many attractions and in enclosed transportation vehicles.

For all the latest park news, be sure to visit Disneyland.com or Disney Parks Blog periodically; since this pandemic situation is constantly evolving, so are the updates and changes to park operations. If you have additional trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to write us again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
