    My family is planning a trip to Disneyland in November and we are hoping Magic Key passes will be available to purchase for our trip. If I were to purchase a 3 day ticket now, would I be able to easily upgrade to a Magic Key if they do go onsale again?

    I love that you are looking to plan multiple visits to the Disneyland Resort by becoming a Disneyland Magic Key Pass Holder. I've been one for several years now and can confirm that there is always something new and exciting to explore at the Disneyland Resort.

    Morgan, when Magic Keys are on sale, Guests can usually upgrade a valid theme park ticket to a Magic Key Pass. However, I caution that when upgrading from a standard theme park ticket to a Magic Key, the expiration date is the first day that ticket was used. Per the Disneyland Resort Magic Key Terms and Conditions, "if an upgrade to a Pass is made from a multi-day ticket, the Pass will be backdated to begin on the first day that such ticket was used." Additionally, if you use all days of the 3-Day ticket before Magic Keys go on sale, you will not be able to use it to upgrade as a ticket must not be fully used or partially used and expired.

    While I wish I had a more concrete answer for you, Morgan. I'm afraid I can't say whether Magic Keys will go on sale again before November. My fingers are crossed that you have good luck getting them if they do!
