Hello. My family is planning a trip to Disneyland in February. What kind of Covid test is required for us to be able to?

Hi Jessica, so glad you decided to visit us here at planDisney!

Mickey's team of health and safety experts has been doing their best to monitor the health and safety conditions throughout the Disneyland Resort! As a result of this, the Disneyland Resort, along with the State of California, strongly recommends that all Guests eligible to be vaccinated do so or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the theme parks. BUT this is a strong recommendation and not a requirement. However, a current requirement is that all Guests (ages 2 and up) wear facial coverings when indoors, such as indoor attractions, shuttles, buses, shops, and restrooms. These requirements may change, so a great resource for the latest up-to-date information is the Disneyland Resort website, which has the latest COVID-19 health and safety protocols!

With all that said, I'm super excited about your upcoming trip! You still have a few weeks before your magical vacation starts, so if you haven't yet, I highly recommend getting your dining reservations booked, as these tend to book quickly! These can be booked up to 60 days in advance, so you're within your booking window. Also, the Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ services recently launched, and if interested in learning how to use these services, the Disneyland Resort website has great how-to videos to help you get started!

If you have any more questions before your magical journey starts, please come back, we're here to help!

    See ya real soon!
