    Hi there! My family is planning a trip to Disney world. I was wondering what character dining is not a buffet. My husband had a kidney transplant and he really shouldn't eat off a buffet.

    As the mom to a special needs Mouseketeer, who seems to get sick at every turn, I understand your concern for your husband's health. Most character dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort offer a buffet meal. However, there are a few places that offer an alternative feast with character interactions. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, The Garden Grill and 'Ohana offer a family-style meal where at Cinderella's Royal Table, Guests order from a menu. Character dining experiences are very popular, so make your dining reservations as soon as possible. Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.
