Hello! My family is planning a trip to Disney World this spring and we are breaking up in groups. One group is staying at the Old Key West Resort and the other group will be at the Caribbean Beach Club. Can we swim at both resorts pools?

    Hello, Debbie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! I am SO excited for your family to experience the MAGIC of Walt Disney World together! You all are going to have a TIGGER-ific time!

The past few years, Walt Disney World has tried to enforce the guideline that only guests staying a particular Disney resort can use the pool. These guidelines are meant to keep the pool traffic down so that guests staying there can truly enjoy the pool. HOWEVER, I have some MAGICAL news for you! I just spoke to a very helpful Cast Member, and she said that you can add day-guests to your reservation. When your other family members come over to visit you at Disney's Old Key West Resort, please inform them to tell the Cast Member at the guard gate that they are here as day-guests of your family. It will be important to give your last name. Once they park, please go the registration desk and add them to your reservation as a day-guest. You are then free to enjoy the pool with your entire family! Don't you just love happy endings!?

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
