Hi, My family is planning a trip in to Disney World in Sept. Do you know if the pirate and pals firework cruise will be going on then? Do you have to stay at the contemporary go on? We are thinking of staying at Wilderness lodge, but our son loves cap.hook

    Hi Lori!

Congratulations on your September visit to Walt Disney World!

You will just LOVE the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage! It's such an incredible way to experience the Wishes fireworks from a totally different vantage point as well as the Electrical Water Pageant most nights. Your son will enjoy meeting Captain Hook and Mr. Smee prior to your voyage as well as the stories, trivia and prizes on board while you experience the antics of Patch! It's one of the highlights of our family vacations at Walt Disney World.

The voyage indeed does take place in September. In fact, I just booked one for my own family that month! Perhaps we shall be on the same voyage!

During September 2012, the Voyage operates on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings. To reserve your family's spot, simply call (407) WDW-PLAY. You don't need to be staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort to reserve the voyage, in fact any Guest of the parks can choose to make a reservation for this fun event. It has become a popular event, so I highly recommend that you call soon to reserve.

Wishing you and your family a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Lori!
