    My family is planning on a trip to Disney world in January 2013 and I see there is a new restaurant opening in Magic Kingdom called Be Our Guest. My question is will this one be on the dining plan?

    Hi Jennifer,

    Lucky you!  It's looking very promising that the Be Our Guest Restaurant will be open by your January 2013 visit to Walt Disney World.  The Disney Parks Blog just announced that they anticipate that this wonderful new dining establishment will be opening this holiday season.  

    However, we haven't heard the official word regarding this restaurant's participation in the Disney Dining Plan but personally, I'd be surprised if the Be Our Guest Restaurant did not accept Disney Dining Plan credits as payment.  It will be interesting to see whether or not the restaurant will be a signature dining experience (requiring two table service credits). 

    My best advice to you would be to follow the Disney Parks Blog regularly.  That's where the call for reservations at Be Our Guest will no doubt be announced.  If reservations are open 180 days before your trip, you'll want to be sure to call first thing in the morning to get a reservation at this much-anticipated new restaurant.
