Hi, there!
Shannon, I'm so happy to hear you're planning another Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Now more than ever is the time to visit!
I just love the
Disney Dining Plan, don't you? It's a must-have for my family because it's so convenient and flexible. Now that the Disney Dining Plan includes
two snacks per day AND alcoholic beverages (for Guests 21 and older) or specialty beverages, it has an even greater value than ever before!
Two Quick-Service entitlements cannot be swapped for one Table-Service entitlement. You may use one Table-Service entitlement for one Quick-Service meal, but I don't recommend doing that since a Quick-Service meal is generally a lesser value than a Table-Service meal. One swap I do support, however, is trading one Quick-Service entitlement for three Snacks. My family often has a few Quick-Service entitlements to spare by the end of our Disney vacations, so we use the entitlements to purchase some Snacks to take home. Nothing cures the post-Disney blues like a few Mickey Mouse Krispie Treats! If you choose to swap one Quick-Service entitlement for three Snacks, just keep in mind that the Snacks need to be purchased in the same transaction.
I strive to get the best bang for my buck on the Disney Dining Plan, so I always schedule a few
Character Dining Experiences for our week-long stays. Most require just one Table-Service entitlement per person; a fantastic value! I especially love
Chef Mickey's and
Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White.
I hope this was helpful, Shannon. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
