My family is planning a trip to Disney World over the Christmas holidays. What are some of the best attractions during this time? and Where is the Disney Springs in relation to Walt Disney World (we are interested in the Cirque).

    Hello, Desdemona,

How exciting for your family to be planning a Walt Disney World trip over Christmas; it is such a magical time to visit. You'll be able to find all sorts of special ways to celebrate the Holidays at Walt Disney World by clicking on the link I provided.

One of my favorite holiday traditions is the Resort Decorations, especially the Gingerbread Creations. A way to enjoy all of the decorations is to plan on making some dining reservations at the resorts. My favorites for decorations are Disney's Grand Floridian Spa & Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

By the way, visiting Walt Disney World around Christmas is a popular time to visit, and dining reservations will fill up quickly.  I'd encourage you to make your reservations when you are 180 days out from your arrival date.  If you are a Disney Resort guest, you can make 10 days worth of reservations at that time.  Just make sure your My Disney Experience is ready to go!

Since things may change from year to year, I'd encourage you to visit the Disney Parks Blog regularly to see what new and traditional things are happening over the holidays.

Finally, if you visit the Disney Springs link, there is a map in the bottom right-hand corner.  The map will show you where it is located in relation to all of the Walt Disney World resort.

Wishing you a magical trip! -Kara
