Hey Tamica and welcome to planDisney!
You've come to the right panelist for large parties. My travel party for my upcoming visit to Walt Disney World is currently set at 10 Guests. We're traveling light this time. I'm happy to share the tips and tricks I've learned over the years to get the job done.
Tip 1. You can book a Walt Disney World Resort room-only reservation 499 days in advance. Because your plan is to visit during a holiday week I would actually strongly recommend this to have the highest chances of getting the rooms you want. You can call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at 407-939-1936 to speak with Cast Members about booking.
Tip 2. While there are accommodations all over the properties for larger parties like the 3 bedroom Grand Villas at
Disney's Riviera Resort or a Bungalow at
Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, I always find it more peaceful for smaller family units to get their own rooms. This way everyone is responsible for paying for their own vacation package and when I need a break from the group, I can go into my own quiet space. My current trip actually involves 3 different rooms across 3 separate Disney Resorts Collection hotels.
Tip 3. With each smaller family group getting separate rooms, it makes it easy for each group to add their own
Theme Park Tickets to create vacation packages.
Tip 4. When staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Guests have access to complimentary Disney Transportation to get to the theme parks and Disney Springs.
Tamica, I hope I've been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, feel free to
come back for another chat.
Happy planning!
Taylor
