My family is planning a trip to Disney in September. There will be a 6 yr old boy, a 5 yr old girl and a baby. Can you recommend boy friendly character meals? We are staying at the Polynesian and have a 4day non-hopper park pass

    Hi Staci!

Yay! Sounds like a fun time--6 and 5 year olds are PRIME for character meals!

The most highly recommended character meals are:

Chef Mickeys at The Contemporary (this is great b/c since you're staying at the Poly you can just ride the monorail over & you can go any day since it's outside the parks.)

Princess Breakfast in Norway (probably skip that one!)

Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House (this is way cool because it's in Animal Kingdom, which is my fave...but if you get an early enough breakfast you can be in the park before it opens which means you can be on the Kilimanjaro Safari before anyone else. It's the best attraction in Animal Kingdom--and right next door to Tusker House!)

My second choices would be The Garden Grill in Epcot with Chip & Dale because the whole room rotates. OR The Ohana breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at the Poly. OR the Disney Jr Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios (I think it's Handy Manny, Little Einsteins & Oso!)

Don't forget you can book the meals 190 days before you go and for Character Meals, you really want to do this! If you don't get in, just keep calling. Even every day if you want. You can probably get in due to cancellations you just have to be diligent!

    Have a blast!
