Welcome back to planDisney, Lisette!
I'm so glad that you’ve come back with more questions about my second favorite Disney treasure (right after Disneyland Resort): Disneyland Paris! Princess Ariel always uncovers new wonders beneath the waves, and I know that you and your family will find countless magical moments throughout this resort. As Scuttle says, you’re being intrepidaceous.
You’re out to discover! Now, Lisette, let’s dive into some tips that’ll have you navigating Disneyland Paris like a pro! Just like using a dinglehopper, the
Disneyland Paris mobile app is your handy tool for finding characters, even while you’re at home! Just click “Map” at the bottom center of your screen, then tap on “Attractions.” This will give you a drop-down menu where you can select “Characters.” Voilà! Icons will appear across the map, showing you where your favorite characters are hanging out. I also like to switch to the “List” option at the top right to see who’s around, where they’re meeting guests, and at what times. It’s a real treasure map!
Now, Disneyland Paris is brimming with character meet and greets that you won’t find anywhere else under the sea—or at other
Disney Parks around the world! It’s always a magical moment stepping into the world of Agrabah to meet Genie, the Sultan, and sometimes even Jafar! I’m already dreaming about my next trip, where I hope to
join Minnie for a journey through Europe’s famous landmarks for some epic photo ops!
At the time that I am writing this, Princess Ariel from the live-action story is no longer making appearances. But don’t lose your voice over it! Last year, she
made a splash at the Walt Disney Studios Park, so who knows? By the time you visit next summer, she might just swim back to the shores of the resort!
And speaking of princesses, have you thought about treating your little mermaid to
a royal dining experience during your visit? I can’t wait to bring my two little princes to one of the buffets. But if you’re looking for a royal feast,
Auberge de Cendrillon is a beloved table-service restaurant hosted by none other than Princess Cinderella herself. The other princesses can vary, but Princess Ariel from the animated story is often here, wandering free, and you can be
part of her world! Be sure to make your reservation on the app up to 60 days in advance to secure your spot!
As always, I’ve loved sharing these tips with you, Lisette! I’m bubbling with excitement for your trip next year! If you have any more questions or need specific tips as you plan, just swim back to me again because “
It’s what I do! It’s what I live for!”
Flippin’ your fins you don’t get too far!Danielle
