We are a Family of 6 planning a trip to Disney in March 2016. We are thinking about the Art of Animation Resort. Thinking about Dining plans.. Do we have to go with the Food Plan? Which Family Suites have kitchenettes? How do I get groceries delivered

Hi Kristin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in my opinion is the best resort for a larger family! I love how spacious the rooms are, even with all six of you I bet you won’t find yourselves feeling cramped. Each family suite includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a double-size sleeper sofa, one double-size convertible TableBed; two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchenette.

You do not have to go with the dining plan. I will say that most times when I travel with my family we do use the Disney Dining Plan because I feel it is easy, however there are times that we choose to not use it also. It really is what works best for your family.

When we have groceries delivered we use Garden Grocer. There are so many options on their website we absolutely love ordering from them. The wonderful thing is that Bell Services will actually store all of your groceries (even the parshiables) for you until you are ready to use them. One of my favorite purchases is a case of water. It is great to be able to have water, milk, and juice on hand for the kids. It saves me a trip to the food court late at night!

I hope I have helped to answer your questions! Please come back at any time if you have additional vacation planning questions! I really love helping guests just like you!
