Hello! My family and I were planning to make a trip to Disney during February 2026, and we’re huge fans of the Rock N Roller Coster at Hollywood Studios! Since hearing that the ride would close, we’ve been wondering whether we’d get to ride it by then!

    Hiya Carolina,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you are planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort in February. I always love visiting in the winter months because the weather isn't as humid, and the crowds, in my experience, are much lower than in the summer months. I know you are going to have an incredible time making memories with your family.

Speaking of memories, Carolina, I'm so glad that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is a big part of your family's. This attraction is beloved by so many, and I know it sent shockwaves through fans when they heard it was being reimagined to feature the Muppets. We haven't received much news from Walt Disney World about the official closing date for the attraction's refurbishment. All we know so far is that the closing is scheduled to happen sometime in 2026. Unfortunately, I'm unable to confirm whether it will be open during your February visit or if it's still undergoing a facelift. I'm hoping that as we get closer to the end of this year, an update will be provided on either Disney Parks Blog or the website so that Guests can plan out when they can say a fond farewell to the Aerosmith theming and get ready to welcome the Muppets to their new home.

I wish I had better news, Carolina, but I hope this was helpful. I will keep my fingers crossed that your family gets a chance to experience Rock 'n' Roller Coaster in its original form during your visit. I know it will be a magical addition to your vacation. Before I let you go, don't forget to check out Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure during your trip. These new shows have arrived at Hollywood Studios, and although I haven't been able to check them out just yet (I missed their debut by a week), I've heard fantastic things about them. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
