Hi! My family is planning a trip to Disney for Christmas 2014. We would like to stay on property. Our family will include my hubby, my daughter, me, my mom, and dad. We would like 2-3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Moderate budget. Suggestions please?

    Hi Anissa!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If you said budget was no issue, I would recommend staying in a Disney Deluxe Villa which are absolutely fabulous.  However, since you wrote that you are on a moderate budget, I would suggest getting two connecting rooms at a Disney Moderate Resort or two connecting rooms at a Disney Value Resort.  I have found that to be relatively economical over the years.  My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside and my favorite Disney Value Resort for standard rooms is Pop Century.

In general, a Disney Moderate Resort has more services and amenities than a Disney Value Resort.  A Disney Moderate Resort also has a water slide at the main feature pool while Value resorts do not.  If you think you will want to spend some time at your resort relaxing and not just sleeping then I would recommend considering a Disney Moderate Resort.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
