Our family is planning a trip in December. I am purchasing 3 day park to park tickets but the days we plan to go are black out dates. How would we go about purchasing tickets for those days ?

    Hi Gaby,

Those of us who live in Florida are so fortunate to be able to take advantage of special Florida resident rates and discounts at Walt Disney World for much of the year. I believe your question is about the Florida resident 3-day ticket offer. It's a great deal, giving a substantial discount over the rate available to those who aren't Florida residents.

Unfortunately, your travel dates near Christmas are in the period where the Florida resident discount doesn't apply. The Florida resident offers usually are blocked out during peak times near Christmas, Easter and the height of the summer season.

This year, that block out period near the holidays runs from December 15 through January 2. I'm afraid you will not be able to take advantage of the discount and will need to pay the regular rate if you visit during that time.

Thanks for asking your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you on the ticket discount, but I hope you still have a great time enjoying all the magic of the holidays at Walt Disney World

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
