My family & I are planning a trip in August to DW and know they usually offer free dining. Is it better to book now with dining and then call to ask for the free dining to be credited or book without the dining and then call back to add the free dining

    Hi Jodi!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  A Disney Dining Plan can be added as late as a couple of days before check-in, so my suggestion is to book without dining now.  You just need to remember to add in before you arrive; it's too late once you arrive at Walt Disney World.

There's no guarantee that Disney will offer Free Dining or any other discounts as the year progresses; Disney really offers discounts in an attempt to increase the occupancy rates at Disney owned and operated hotels.  If Free Dining does come out, you will have to call Disney and specifically ask that you be re-booked using that discount.  Disney will not automatically do that for you.

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions!
