My family and I am planning a trip -Aug.20-27 is this a busy time of year? and is the weather unbearable then? Have two boys 6 and 5.

    Hi Janet!
I was just in Walt Disney World this past August (15-21) and it was busy, but not super crowded. Crowds tend to ebb and flow over the summer depending on who has the stamina to deal with the heat, because I'll tell you is HOT!! Each day of my visit was 95-100 degrees with 80+ percent humidity. OUCH!!
The only thing that kept me somewhat sane was the fact that I love this place so much! That said, my committment was definitely put to the test. If you ease up on the pace a bit, drink plenty of water, and take swim breaks back at the resort, you will definitely have a good time. I highly recommend spacing out attractions like Hall of Presidents and other indoor rides to capitalize on air conditioning.
I wish you a Magical (and cool) trip this summer!! :)
