My family is planning a trip in April to Disneyworld. We are trying to make a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table for April 5th for my Daughters 40th BD. So far no luck! Any suggestions?

    Hi Donna,
So glad you stopped by to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for submitting your question.

I see you're having trouble finding a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table for your daughter's birthday. It's such a popular restaurant and those reservations fill up quickly! Here are my suggestions: first, keep trying! People's plans change frequently due to any number of reasons, so keep checking back either with a friendly Cast Member on the phone or on the My Disney Experience app to see if you can find a table for you and your family. I suggest trying daily up through her birthday; you may have to call on the day of to see if there's availability.

Second suggestion: if you have a large party, sometimes it helps to break it up into two smaller parties that have reservation times close to one another. I've had success with this in the past-instead of one party of eight, we did two parties of four and we were successful. You can ask the restaurant to work with you so you can try to sit near one another.

Third option: Choose a backup and have a reservation there just in case. If it's a meal with a princess that you're seeking, may I recommend Akershus Royal Banquet Hall located in the World Showcase in Epcot? I also recommend a good dessert party to celebrate a special occasion! How about the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise

Donna, I hope you have luck with some of my suggestions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
