Hey friend,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m glad you’re here. Planning a birthday visit to Walt Disney World for your cousin is so special. While I’m certain that just being in the Most Magical Place on Earth for her birthday will be a perfect core memory that will last a lifetime, there are definitely a few things you can do to make it extra special. Let’s get into it!
The first thing I want you to do is be sure to note on your reservation that you are celebrating a birthday. It won’t guarantee anything extra, but it will definitely help cast members at your resort celebrate the birthday girl with you appropriately. You can also notify your server during any table-service dining experiences, and you can even
order a specialty birthday cake for your reservation at participating restaurants.
Additionally, when you check in ask a cast member for a complimentary birthday celebration button for the birthday girl. Not only is it a great keepsake, but it tells cast members and even guests throughout the resort that there’s a special birthday girl afoot. While nothing is guaranteed, you can probably expect tons of birthday greetings and maybe even a few fun perks!
For more birthday flair during your stay, consider purchasing add-ons like gift or snack baskets, ballons and floral arrangements from Disney’s
Magical Floral & Gifts. You can also give some thought to celebrating the moment with a great photo session. Guests can reserve a 20-minute
Capture Your Moment photo session in any of the 4 theme parks or visit the
Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs. PhotoPass photographers will help you make this the most special birthday by capturing special moments inside the theme park(s) of your choice or at the studio.
If you’re still in need of something special to commemorate the occasion, book another special experience from the
Enchanting Extras Collection. For a 15th birthday group activity, I’d recommend either the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT
fireworks cruises,
The Garden View Lounge – Tea Experience at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or a
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party. These are all practically perfect ways to celebrate a birthday.
I hope this information is helpful. If you need any additional help while planning your next visit, come on back to planDisney! TTFN… ta-ta for now!
