    Our family is planning to stock our rooms/refrigerators with breakfast items, as well as necessities such as diapers, wipes, etc. Is it more economical to go with a grocery delivery service, or would we be better off taking a taxi to the store on our own?

    Hi Heather!  I just returned from a trip to Disney and had stayed in the Fort Wilderness cabins.  I tried out the grocery service for myself and have only wonderful things to say about it!  I think as far as comparing the cost it would come out about even by the time you actually get a cab, have it wait while you shop, and then return.  The convenience of the service to me is worth it completely!

    The list of grocery items available can be seen on line by going to www.gardengrocer.com. This is the grocery service I used and was very pleased and they offer a large variety of items including many baby needs.  I will definitely use this again!  If you choose to use this I recommend you getting the date and time you request in early to lock that in for your arrival.  Please also remember that the refrigerators in the rooms are very small so keep your perishables to a minimum.
