Hi there Adamarie, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a great question about your spring getaway.
How wonderful that you'll be staying just steps away from
Disney Springs on your vacation. Have you heard about some of the newest stars on the block?
Gideon's Bakehouse and
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew are a sweet tooth's dream come true! The
M&M's™ Store looks awesome, and I can't wait to stop in and create a personalized bag of my favorite candy on my next visit.
Adamarie, I reached out to a representative from Wyndham Lake Buena Vista who shared that they are working with their shuttle provider to resume service for 2021, however, an exact date when the buses will resume running is currently unknown. I recommend checking their website and calling the resort just before you arrive to see if there have been any changes to their transportation offerings. At this point, your best options to reach the
Walt Disney World theme parks are
driving your own vehicle or using a ride share service, as
Disney Springs does not provide bus transportation directly to the theme parks. For now, let's wish upon a star that by the time you travel, your resort's shuttle service will have resumed, but I suggest making contingency plans just in case.
I hope this is helpful as you continue to count the weeks and days until your vacation begins. The weather should be lovely in Florida in late-April, and the busy spring break weeks will have passed. What a perfect time to visit! Be sure to see what's blooming over at the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I already have a list of must-try snacks based on
a recent Disney Parks Blog post; the Mini Funnel Cake topped with Lemon Cheesecake Ice Cream, Blueberries, and Powdered Sugar is a top priority for my spring visit. Thanks again for stopping by to see us again, and have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
