My Family and I are planning on staying at the Polynesian Village Resort for our next stay in May. Could we spend a day at the Resort next door; The Wilderness Cabins and Campground? As in using the pools, arcade, etc. or do we need to be staying there?

Hi, Dana! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your question!

I’m thrilled to learn you have booked a stay at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, my personal favorite resort on property! I love the convenience of its location close to Magic Kingdom Park, access to the Monorail and taxi boat transportation, the theming, recreation areas like the insanely cool Lava Pool, ‘Ohana… I could go on and on about this resort! I hope you have a magical time during your stay!

Dana, guests are welcome to visit any resort hotel during their stay. In fact, it is encouraged! I love checking out other resort hotels during each visit, so I can start planning my next stay. The resort amenities, like the pool, are to be enjoyed exclusively by guests staying at each resort. So, during your visit to a neighboring resort hotel, be sure to take a peek at the magnificent pools and recreation areas. Make a dining reservation, too! I love all the amazing and unique restaurants each resort has. But to enjoy a splash at the pool, you definitely need to be a guest at the hotel.

I hope this helps answer your question. For any additional tips or planning advice, be sure to come back to see us.

    Have a magical day!
