My Family and I are planning my son's 5th Birthday at Disney World Starting May 19th. We are a family of 8. What would be the best option for Disney tickets for all of us?

    Dear Whitney,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning your upcoming vacation to the most magical place on earth!

For your family, the first step is determining which of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels has the availability that you are thinking about. Would you like to stay in two rooms, or a suite and a room, or even a large multi-bedroom villa that accommodates you all in one space? After you book your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, then you should think about booking your Advanced Dining Reservations, as those open 180 days in advance and you are within that window already.

In terms of tickets, you will first decide how many days you plan to visit, and whether you think you will want to "park hop," or go between two or more Walt Disney World Resort parks on the same day. That will help you to determine your ticket choices. You should also consider whether you are interested in visiting the water parks or not as well, because those can also be added to your tickets.

Keep an eye on the Special Offers page as well, there may be some great options that pop up there for your family.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
