Our family was planning to take in the nighttime shows (Illuminations and wishes), and were planning on having dinner in the parks beforehand. Should we make our ADRs for 2 hours before show time or would even earlier be helpful? Thanks for your help.

Hi Thomas!  Making a reservation two hours before the Illuminations or Wishes shows should be plenty of time to have a nice meal and also see the show.  However, if it is a crowded night in the park then the good spots for viewing will be taken fairly early on.  If this matters to you as far as a viewing spot then I suggest you book about three hours before so you have an hour to hunt down the best location!  This is really only necessary during heavy crowd dates as I was just in EPCOT and you could easily have found a spot along the water with only 15 minutes before show time!
