Family enjoying activities on board

My family and I are planning a 7-night cruise for my baby's 2nd birthday for April of 2024. My mom is disabled and requires an oxygen machine at night. Would we be able to bring this onboard? How should we label it to make sure it gets to her room?

    Ahoy there, Ashlyn!

Welcome aboard planDisney! Extended family cruising is one of my favorite things because cruising is so flexible. Let's make sure all of you have what you need to just relax and enjoy!

Guests who need to bring medical equipment onboard the ship should contact Disney Cruise Line Special Services to make arrangements at least 60 days in advance so Cast Members can advise you on whether your equipment is able to be brought onboard and how you should transport it. You can find phone numbers and email contact information for Special Services here and you can also fill out the Request Special Services form online. The form has a section for guests who are traveling with oxygen that has additional details that I think will be really helpful for you. I recommend calling first, to discuss your specific needs, then filling out the form so they have it recorded for you.

I hope that helps all of your party breathe a little easier! I know your cruise is pretty far out on the horizon still, but planning is half the fun! If there are other questions that I can help you with for activities, Port Adventures, or celebrations onboard (so fun to celebrate a little sailor's birthday!) just send a message along and I'll sail back to keep planning with you.

    Keep moving forward!
