Hi Michele!
Walt Disney World is so festive during the holidays! The parks are decked out in zillions of twinkling lights, thousands of bright red poinsettias, and hundreds of brilliantly decorated Christmas trees. I love the Mickey wreaths that adorn the lampposts.
Michele, you will be able to see the brand new fireworks show
Disney Enchantment and enjoy all the wonderment and attractions the
Magic Kingdom has to offer without attending the after hours event. Typically the nighttime spectacular blasts off at 8:00 pm and the
Disney Very Merriest After Hours event starts at 9:00 pm. You will be able to stay in the park until the official closing time. Check the
theme park calendar to see the hours the Magic Kingdom is open on the day you are visiting.
Currently the Magic Kingdom is running smaller
Character Cavalcades multiple times during the day rather than one long parade, so there are several chances to catch sight of Mickey and Minnie or the princesses. You can also catch the classic
Electrical Water Pageant that glides around the Seven Seas Lagoon every night from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The best chance to enjoy this floating spectacle and hear the catchy, jingly music is outside the park.
Wishing you a wonderful visit to see Mickey!
Elisabeth
