Our family is planning a July13 trip to WDW. It wil be our 5th yr (since we are DVC members). I would like to keep it fresh for my dtr (9) and son (7). Are the pirate adventures age appropiate for them and which 1 would you prefer? Any oth ideas?

Hi Joseph!  As a Disney Vacation Club member myself, and having visited Walt Disney World many times, I understand your wanting to try something new and fun on each visit.  Your kids are at the absolute perfect age to enjoy a Pirate Adventure Cruise!  Also, be aware, that this is kids only-no parents allowed!. As far as which I would prefer, I've included this LINK which gives a brief overview of the four different adventures-perhaps showing the descriptions to your kids and having them pick a favourite might be best!  Another great activity that they might enjoy is The Pirates League at the Magic Kingdom.  Your daughter can be transformed into an "Empress Pirate" and your son a "First Mate" pirate. And after they've been made over, there's a few special surprises included!  For both the Pirate Adventure Cruise and The Pirates League, I would suggest making advance reservations by calling 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529)

I hope you have a great vacation, Joseph, and that your kids have a m'ARRR'velous Pirate Adventure!
