My family and I are planning having dinner at Hoop Dee-Doo Review for a 4:00 pm seating and would like to also do the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas that evening. Will we have enough time to do both the dinner show and get to the Magic Kingdom in time.

Hi Marge! I hope you love the great Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue during your Disney vacation. It is one of the shows that my family always enjoys heading back to year after year.

Reserving the early Hoop Dee Doo show is the best idea if you are also heading to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. With that special event ticket you can actually get into the Magic Kingdom at 4pm but the actual party does not start until 7pm.  You will want to leave right after the dinner show and walk to the marina area of Fort Wilderness. This is only steps away and it's where you will catch a boat to the Magic Kingdom. This is the best way for you to get to the park that evening and the quickest way as well. If you have driven to Fort Wilderness then just leave the car parked there during the party and return by boat at the end of the evening to pick up the car.

You will have plenty of time to reach the park by the 7pm party start and will likely get there much earlier then that. Sometimes the lines from Fort Wilderness for the boat can be long but the boats they use generally are the larger ones and many guests will be accommodated on each one.

Enjoy this special evening you have planned!
